The permanent Exhibition of the Museum shows an introduction to local history, different themes about kayaks, immigrants - interior exhibition during different times and social status as well as a house of tribute for the famous poet, painter and priest Henrik Lund.

Narsaq Museum is surrounded by the beautiful harbors area. The Museum itself is hosted in some of the oldest houses in the city and they are dated back to the founding of Narsaq in 1830.

You will find a shop, relax area with photographs, books and historical videos. A small area for kids equipped with old and new toys is available. During the sommer different outdoors activities will take place. See turist information. Free guided tours will be given in the museum area.

The Museum opening hours are from May to September every day between 1 pm and 4 pm. From October to April (included) openings will only be the last Sunday in each month between 1 pm and 4 pm.
